TJSB was founded as Thane Janata Sahakari Bank in Thane city in the year 1972 and today it has made a mark in the states of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh

Digital payment transactions are continuously registering incremental growth with the various newer modes of payments like IMPS, BHIM-UPI, Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) transforming the digital payment ecosystem along with the existing payment modes such as debit cards etc.
Apart from introducing technology initiatives like we also support financial inclusion by introducing the various schemes floated by the Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana which is a National Mission for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely Banking Savings & Deposit Accounts, Remittance, Loans & Advances, Insurance, Pension in an affordable manner and the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana for development and refinancing activities relating to micro units.
The Bank acknowledges its social responsibility by donating a part amount of its net profit to social organisation under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy, with the Bank being actively associated with socially relevant environmental issues.
